Public Service Media Management

(May 12-14, 2013, Warsaw, Poland)

In 2013, before the project began, we organised a preparatory event that drew together industry practitioners, policy-makers and practitioners at the University of Warsaw. It was supported by the European Science Foundation (ESF). Over 20 policy makers, media practitioners and scholars gathered together to work towards a pan-European innovation ‘lab’ or similar initiative to assist leaders of PSM firms to adapt. The specific aim was to examine models, strategies, and managerial theories and to look at how these connect with emerging genres of content and services in the digital realm.
